Aprotex is a drug from the group of proteolysis inhibitors produced in Russia by Lance-Pharm. Its international name is Aprotinin. The drug is used to treat and prevent various diseases and conditions, as well as to control bleeding.

Indications for the use of Aprotex include acute pancreatitis, exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis, prevention of postoperative pancreatitis, pancreatic necrosis, hyperfibrinolytic bleeding - post-traumatic, postoperative (especially during operations on the prostate gland, lungs), before, during and after childbirth, complications of thrombolytic therapy, open surgery heart using artificial blood circulation machines, etc., treatment and prevention of various forms of shock (endotoxic, traumatic, hemolytic), postoperative mumps.
