Asthenospermia

**Asthenospermia** is a condition in which sperm motility and their ability to quickly move and penetrate the egg are reduced. This is a common disorder, which is usually accompanied by imbalance and other disorders of male sexual function.

Asthenospermia can be based on many reasons, and accordingly, the disease requires an integrated approach.

**The main causes of asthenosperia** are the following factors: 1. Hormonal imbalances. Usually this is a decrease in testosterone levels or the presence of other hormones that have a suppressive effect on spermatogenesis. As a result, sperm activity decreases and they cease to fully perform their function. Sometimes there is an uneven distribution of male sex hormones throughout the body. In obese men, asthenosprumia occurs much more often than in others. 2. Traumatic brain injuries and concussions. This is far from uncommon for representatives of the stronger sex. The thing is that any blows and other unpleasant manipulations can negatively affect men's health. Traumatic injuries can also affect the testicles: blood circulation is disrupted, and swelling of the gonads occurs. Over time, stagnation may appear. 3. Elevated body temperature affects the testicles in the same way as injury. This adversely affects sperm production. The most striking example is heavy work in a bathhouse, sauna, etc. Plus colds. 4. Sports activities provoke profuse sweating, which has a negative effect on erections.

ASTHENOSPERMIA is a pathological condition of sperm, characterized by a decrease in its motility. It occurs in both men and women. Asthenospepmia can have different etiologies, most often occurring under the influence of various external and internal factors, for example, as a result of hypothermia. Often diagnosed in cases of Varadi disease and fever.
