Atabekova Sections

Atabekova Razrezy is a settlement in the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located in the Sunzhensky district and bears the name of Dzhokhar Dudayev, the first president of independent Chechnya.

Previously, this settlement was called Atabekov and was the center of a rural settlement of the same name. In 2000, the village was renamed Atabekova Razrezy in honor of Dzhokhar Dudayev, who was born here in 1944.

Atabekova Razrezy is located on the Goyty River, in the picturesque area of ​​the foothills of Chechnya. This area is rich in mineral resources; oil, gas and coal are mined here. Therefore, the word “Cuts” appeared in the name of the village.

The population of Atabekov Razrezov is about 3,000 people. The main occupation of local residents is agriculture and work at industrial enterprises in the region. The village has a school, hospital, mosque and other social infrastructure facilities.

Atabekova Razrezy preserves the memory of its famous native Dzhokhar Dudayev. His bust is installed here, and one of the central streets bears his name. This is a typical Chechen village, where they carefully preserve the traditions and history of their people.
