Zarnab

Essence.
This is a large non-fruit-bearing tree that grows in the mountains of Lebanon, in Syria; Only its leaves are used. Its stems are thin, round in shape, thick from a thick needle to kalam, black and yellowish. The taste and smell of zarnab are not sharp, but the faint smell is fragrant, lemony. Its strength is similar to that of nutmeg, but it is a little more rarefied than nutmeg. "As they say, they sometimes replace Chinese cinnamon.

Hot, dry in the second degree.

Actions and properties.
Somewhat astringent and wind-absorbent.

Organs of the head.
Zarnab with water and rose oil is put into the nose for a cold headache.

Nutritional organs.
Zarnab is very helpful for cold liver and cold stomach.
