Atrioseptopexy

Atrioseptopexis is a surgical procedure that is used to treat various heart conditions. It consists of strengthening the interatrial septum (atrium) using special materials such as synthetic threads or frames. This reduces the risk of developing arrhythmias and other complications associated with dysfunction of the atrium.

The atriopexy procedure is performed through a small incision in the chest, which allows the surgeon to reach the atrium and strengthen it. After surgery, the patient may experience some pain and discomfort, but this usually goes away within a few days.

Atrioseptopexy is performed either as a stand-alone operation or in combination with other procedures, such as pacemaker implantation or heart valve replacement. This treatment is effective and safe, and the results can be long-lasting.
