Autophilia is a form of deviation in sexual desire in which sexual arousal arises from introspection or mental contemplation of a sexual object. Also known by the term "autoeroticism".
Clinical manifestations of autophilia usually include interest in photographs of one's naked body, voyeurism, self-sarcasm, self-pornography, and other forms of self-actualization. Unlike other forms of sexual behavior, in autiphilic individuals their actions are not motivated by the desire to obtain pleasure from another person. About 7% of men are autophilic. However, if these figures are taken into account among all men in the world, the percentage could be much higher.
