Bleeding Anorectal

Anorectal bleeding is a pathological condition in which bleeding occurs from the anus and rectum.

Causes of anorectal bleeding:

  1. Hemorrhoids are enlarged veins in the anal area. It is the most common cause of bleeding.

  2. Anal fissures are minor damage to the mucous membrane.

Symptoms:

  1. Discharge of blood from the anus of different colors and consistency - from bright scarlet to dark, coagulated.

  2. Pain in the anus.

  3. Itching, burning in the anal area.

  4. General weakness with significant blood loss.

Diagnosis includes examination, digital examination, blood tests, and colonoscopy.

Treatment depends on the cause of the bleeding. Conservative therapy and surgical intervention may be required.
