Bleeding Vicarious

Vicarious bleeding (h.vicaria) is bleeding from one vessel as a result of a violation of its integrity, caused by a violation of hemostasis in another vessel. Such bleeding can be caused by various reasons, including trauma, surgery, embolization, as well as certain diseases such as atherosclerosis, thrombosis, leukemia and others.

With vicarious bleeding, a violation of hemostasis occurs, which leads to the release of blood from a vessel that usually does not participate in the blood circulation. This can lead to the development of anemia and other complications such as hypotension, heart failure and others.

To treat vicarious bleeding, it is necessary to diagnose and determine the cause of the hemostatic disorder. Then treatment is carried out aimed at stopping the bleeding and eliminating the cause of hemostasis.

In some cases, vicarious bleeding can be life-threatening, so it is necessary to urgently consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
