Dosage forms: tablets 25 mg, chewable tablets 25 mg
Composition: Active substance - meclozine.
Indications for use: Nausea, vomiting and dizziness (including with kinetosis, Meniere's syndrome, labyrinthine and vestibular disorders, vertigo); immediate allergic reactions (including skin diseases accompanied by itching).
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, children under 12 years of age. Restrictions on use: bronchial asthma, glaucoma, prostate enlargement, pregnancy.
Side effects: Fatigue, drowsiness, in children - sometimes increased excitability, rarely - blurred vision; dry mouth, vomiting.
Interaction: Enhances the effect of depressants, including barbiturates, alcohol, tranquilizers and sedatives. MAO inhibitors prolong and enhance the anticholinergic effects of meclosine.
Overdose: Symptoms: in adults - central nervous system depression, drowsiness, coma, convulsions; in elderly patients - arterial hypotension; in children - anticholinergic effects and central nervous system stimulation (hallucinations, sleep disturbances, convulsions). Treatment: induction of vomiting (if no more than 2 hours have passed since taking the drug), gastric lavage, taking activated charcoal. Symptomatic therapy.
Special instructions: Use with caution while working for drivers of vehicles and people whose profession is associated with increased concentration of attention. Alcohol intake should be avoided during treatment.
