Book About Cats

Your baby will also enjoy this activity if he has already fallen in love with animals. Look through magazines, books together and look for pictures depicting different members of the cat family. Chat about how they differ from each other. Then invite your child to make his own book about cats. He can draw them, transfer them through tracing paper or cut them out from pictures. Each cat should have its own page. Glue threads or pieces of paper onto the drawings so that the animals grow hair - striped or spotted, and thus your child will create a new breed of cat. Let him give each of them a nickname. Collect all the pictures, staple or sew them together to make a book. Write the title on the cover, and have your son or daughter, as the author, put his name on it.
