Bryant's Symptom

"Bryent's symptom" is a condition that manifests itself as a change in skin color after touching it. This symptom was described in the 19th century by the English surgeon Thomas Bryant and still remains a subject of interest to researchers.

T. Bryant, physician and surgeon, was born in 1829 in London, studied medicine and practice at Pembrokeshire College of Medicine. He conducted research in the fields of general and plastic surgery, as well as physical therapy. In 1856 he became professor of surgery at Mautrey College, where he remained for the next fifteen years.

In his research, Bryant discovered that touching the skin can cause changes in its color. He described this phenomenon as the "bryant symptom", which can manifest itself in a number of diseases and conditions. At the same time, healthy people also experience changes in skin color.
