Delirium of Enormity and Denial

Delusions of enormity or denial are a mental disorder characterized by obsessive ideas about the grandeur and self-centeredness of oneself or others. People with this disorder may imagine themselves as the center of attention, feel like they are at the center of the world, and think that others look up to them, admire them, and support them in everything they do. But at the same time, they experience a deep sense of alienation, distrust of other people, and the belief that no one truly loves, understands, or supports them.

Delusions of grandeur usually manifest in the early stages of psychological disorders such as narcissistic personality disorder, antisocial disorder, or bipolar affective disorder.
