Bronchostenosis Through Partial

Through partial bronchostenosis is a pathological narrowing of the lumen of the bronchi, in which the patency of the bronchus is partially preserved both in the inhalation and exhalation phases.

With through partial bronchostenosis, the narrowing of the bronchial lumen is not complete; air passes through both phases of breathing, but in a smaller volume than with normal bronchial diameter. This leads to impaired ventilation and shortness of breath during exercise.

The causes of the development of through partial bronchoconstriction can be congenital (for example, tracheobronchomalacia) or acquired. Acquired diseases include chronic inflammatory diseases of the bronchi, injuries, tumors, and foreign bodies.

Diagnosis is based on anamnesis, clinical picture, results of functional methods of studying the lungs and imaging methods (radiography, computed tomography).

Treatment depends on the cause and location of the narrowing and can be either conservative or surgical. Timely detection and treatment of the disease is important to prevent the development of chronic respiratory failure.

Through partial bronchostenosis

Through partial bronchostenosis (B.) is a partial, up to complete blocking of the bronchial tube phenomenon. Those. bronchial patency is partially preserved both during the inhalation and exhalation phases. The disease is usually diagnosed at an early stage
