Bulinus

Bulinus is a type of mollusk and is also a gastropod. It is systematically classified as a member of the family of marine or freshwater lips. It may also be included in the family of terrestrial gastropods. It may be popularly known as “slug mold.”

Bulinus looks like a small creature that can have a diameter of 5 to 20 millimeters. Its body shape is spindle-shaped. Bulinus has a pharynx. However, its length is very short. There are tentacles on the abdominal part. They perform the function of tentacles that are involved in fixing the animal. Slugs have eyes covered with cilia. But they are not located on the tentacles themselves. These representatives of the fauna are classified as hermaphrodites. They themselves consume all the excreted reproductive products.
