Indications. Castor oil is used as a laxative. For adults it is prescribed orally at a dose of 15-30 g, for children - at a dose of 5-10-15 g per dose. Castor oil is also used externally in the treatment of burns, ulcers, and cracks.
Contraindications. Castor oil is contraindicated in case of poisoning with fat-soluble substances.
Release form. Castor oil is available in 30 ml bottles and 1 g capsules.
