Cerebellospinal bundle

The cerebellar pons passes forward in the posterior mediastinum and descends along the posterior wall at the level of the C5 roots. On its way, it crosses only 2 main vessels: v.vertebralis on the right and a.centralis on the left. However, behind it lies a large number of other formations, such as the posterior spinal nerves, the sacral root, the spinal cord and the spinal membrane with nerves. In front, the glossopharyngeal nerve, veins and roots of the descending medulla oblongata nerve come into contact with it. The homolog in the contralateral half also undergoes significant destruction, adjacent to the sigmoid sinus. The syntomial arch is very rarely occluded and is very often injured by stretching during traction. Diseases of the cranial and spinal parts are rare. They are associated with neuroma of the vestibule and herniation of the entire disc or its individual elements.
