Cholecystopathy

Cholecystopathy is a general name for various diseases of the gallbladder. This term combines conditions such as cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia and other gallbladder pathologies.

The causes of cholecystopathy can be different: infectious processes, metabolic disorders, hormonal changes, liver pathology, bile stagnation, gallstones. As a result, inflammation and dysfunction of the gallbladder occurs.

The main symptoms of cholecystopathy: pain in the right hypochondrium, nausea, heartburn, bitterness in the mouth, abnormal stool. Diagnostics includes laboratory and instrumental methods - ultrasound, MRI, X-ray, study of gallbladder function.

Treatment of cholecystopathy depends on the cause and severity of the disease. Diet, drug therapy, and physical therapy are used. If conservative treatment is ineffective, surgical removal of the gallbladder - cholecystectomy - may be required.

Thus, cholecystopathy is a collective term for various diseases of the gallbladder that have similar symptoms and treatment principles. Timely diagnosis and therapy can prevent complications and preserve gallbladder function.
