Choletomography

*Choletography (cholectography)* is a method of studying the gallbladder and bile ducts by X-ray contrasting them with an oliguchol mixture. The study is carried out after the introduction of a barium suspension or bilignost (a gray flat-folding substance) into the duodenum. Contraindicated in ascites. It is often used when examining the biliary system of children, especially young children, since the administration of an etherocontrast drug is painless. Cholecastrography is not prescribed for those patients who complain of pain in the right hypochondrium, who are suspected of an inflammatory process of the gallbladder and cholecystitis. Repeated X-ray examination also determines the motor function of the gallbladder, which is of clinical significance for cholelithiasis and hypermotor type gallbladder dyskinesia. In the X-ray room, ultrasound can be replaced by cholecystocholangiography with additional contrast examination of the gallbladder. *When it is reduced, the shape, size, contours, position and content are determined. Previously assessed errors* in the diagnosis are also excluded.
