Cysticercosis

Cysticercosis: Description Cysticercosis is a parasitic infestation caused by the larvae of the tapeworm Taenia solium, otherwise tapeworm, or pork tapeworm (Cysticercus cellulosae) - and related to Finnosis (FIS). The larvae, also known as fins, develop in the body of an intermediate host, most often a dog or human, in loose connective tissue, forming viable parasitic cysts or blisters that can be occasionally seen on the host's body.
