Farsightedness Senile

Senile farsightedness is called age-related degeneration of the eye lens, leading to loss of visual acuity, impaired refractive power of the eye and the development of dystrophic changes in the fundus. The lens begins to lose its elasticity, becoming cloudy and less permeable to light, which leads to an age-related decrease in the acuity of visual function. The development of farsightedness in old age provokes not only a violation of the refraction of light in the eye, but also the development of degenerative changes in the tissues of the eye: chiasm, retina, choroid.
