Indications for use:

  2. exacerbation of gastroduodenitis against the background of peptic ulcer
  3. gastritis associated with Helicobacter pylori

Contraindications:

  1. hypersensitivity
  2. severe renal dysfunction
  3. pregnancy
  4. breast-feeding

Side effects:

  1. nausea, vomiting, increased stool frequency
  2. rarely - allergic reactions in the form of skin rash and itching

Interaction:

  1. reduces the absorption of tetracycline
  2. increases the risk of developing systemic side effects when used simultaneously with other bismuth drugs

Overdose:

  1. possible development of renal failure
  2. treatment: gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal and laxatives, symptomatic therapy

Special instructions:

  1. Long-term use in high doses is not recommended
  2. should not be taken with food or drinks
  3. Avoid drinking alcohol during treatment
