Dermographism alba (dermographism, cutaneous reflex, white dermographism, irritant dermatitis) is a condition in which red spots and blisters appear on the human body after contact with a hot object or touching. This usually happens after a person eats or drinks something hot. Dermographism can be caused by a variety of causes, including drinking hot drinks or foods, exercising, exposure to the sun, or contact with heated surfaces. Some people may be prone to skin twitching when touching hot objects or after eating hot food. In addition, this phenomenon can occur in other situations. For example, sometimes dermographis is observed against the background of hypothermia, stress, or taking certain medications or vitamins. However, in most cases, dermographima is not a symptom of any disease, but rather may be associated with the individual characteristics of the body.
