Diaphanogonioscopy

Diaphanoscopy of the eye is an optical diagnostic method for indirect assessment of the general condition of ocular tissues and blood vessels, based on transillumination of the eyeball with a light source, predominantly polarized. Allows you to examine the surface structures and internal structures of the organ by the brightness of the glow. Diaphanoperimetry, a type of diaphanoscopy, is also used to determine the thickness of the cornea.
