This diarrhea is usually accompanied by frequent and futile urge to go down. At the same time, pain and convulsive contraction are felt in the anus. The cause of strained diarrhea lies mostly in inflammation of the rectum, as indicated by mucous and purulent stool in the form of flakes.
The patient must be given a starch enema: mix a teaspoon of starch (preferably rice) with a small amount of cold water, add half a glass of boiling water and let it boil once. For an enema, you need to administer half a glass of this decoction at room temperature through a rubber balloon (syringe) and let the patient hold it in himself as long as he can. Then you need a milk diet, and to calm the stomach, put a poultice of hot boiled potatoes mashed with peels or just a warm compress on the stomach.
