Course dose

Course doses are individual independent study of a specific discipline by students, in which only the material that is basic for a given discipline is studied in classroom lessons, and the student studies everything else independently. The key traits are independence and individual character.

Doses of coursework often differ from traditional lecture classes for two reasons: - their volume is designed for a significantly smaller number of classroom hours - a mandatory format.

Possible forms of delivery: small groups of students - no more than 7; individual training; lectures without the participation of a teacher; training sessions including elements of self-government; teacher consultations on an individual schedule; practical lessons. In this form of training, a significant role is played by students’ independent work on the course, associated with the study of educational and scientific literature, preparation for lectures, solving problems and tests, and collecting data for abstracts.
