Duguay Angina is a French doctor, one of the leading representatives of pathological anatomy and anatomical-pathological microscopy.

Jean-Baptiste Duguay was born on June 11, 1828 in Paris. He graduated from the medical faculty of the University of Paris in 1855. Student of Otto Warleng, Seguin, P. Burnett. He is the founder of the pathological research method. More than 60 students came from his hands (including Ansel, Barzini, Bobsdorf, Cotier, Wolman, Wedel, A. Egerer, Enig.
