Jacksonian Epilepsy

Jacksonian epilepsy is a mental illness associated with disruption of the nervous system. It is characterized by sudden attacks during which a person loses consciousness and may perform dangerous actions. These patients may experience a variety of symptoms, including muscle cramps or spasms, hallucinations, altered consciousness, or delusions. The diagnosis is made based on the results of neurological studies. Treatment consists of taking medications and psychocorrective measures.
