Encephalitis Sleepy

Sleepy encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) is a very serious disease that can lead to serious health consequences and even death. It occurs as a result of a virus that causes an infection in the brain. Symptoms of this disease include severe headache, nausea, vomiting, loss of consciousness, seizures and other brain problems. It can be transmitted through mosquito bites or through contact with infected people or animals.

Unlike other infectious diseases such as flu or colds, Carotid encephalitis causes problems with coordination and balance. It can happen to people of any age, but it most often affects young people.

Treatment for Carotid encephalitis consists of antibiotics, a special diet, and many medications that help reduce swelling of the brain.
