Epispadias

Epispadias is a congenital disorder of the development of the urethra, in which it splits before the bladder opens. As a result of the pathology, the outflow of urine and the formation of normal urination are disrupted. With epispadias, urine constantly or periodically leaks into the urethra, causing inflammation of the genitourinary system and the development of infection. According to statistics, this disease occurs much more often in boys than in girls (90% and 10%, respectively), but both boys and girls are affected. The most common site of the congenital disorder is near the internal opening of the urethra (urethra), called the capitate. 73% of newborn boys are born with defective sections of the urethra. Boys with an epispadiastic anterior location of the urethra are also subdivided, and if it is not sufficiently developed, then the problem is aggravated by the fact that the defect covers the prolapsed penis and, thus, problems with urination are constant. The most important thing in all this is not to transfer the occurrence of the problem to the doctor’s open question “how often do urine leaks occur?” Otherwise, the doctor will be able to admit that you still do not understand the situation. It is almost always necessary to restore the boy's normal routine and make it clear to the doctor that this is impossible.

Epispadias is a congenital malformation of the bladder and urethra, characterized by non-closure or splitting of the anterior wall of the external urethral opening. Its formation is due to underdevelopment of the medial wall of the genitourinary groove at the level of the II lumbar vertebra or uneven fusion. On the background
