Eye

The eye is an organ of vision, shaped like an irregular sphere, which perceives light and color and reacts to these stimuli. The eyeball consists of a nucleus covered with three membranes and the auxiliary organs of the eye. The outer fibrous membrane consists of the sclera and the transparent cornea the middle choroid consists of the choroid itself, the ciliary body and the iris internal photosensitive retina. Rays of light entering the eye through the cornea are refracted, passing through the fluid of the anterior and posterior chambers, through the lens of the eye. By changing the shape of the lens, light rays passing through the vitreous body are focused on the retina. Light-sensitive cells in the retina send nerve impulses to the brain through the optic nerve. Having two eyes in humans provides binocular vision. Each eye is located in the socket, and its movement within the socket is ensured by the eye muscles.

The eye is an organ of vision that allows us to perceive light, color and respond to these stimuli. The eyeball has the shape of an irregular sphere and consists of a core covered by three membranes. The outer tunica (fibrous) consists of the sclera (transparent cornea) and the tunica media (vascular). The latter includes the choroid itself, the ciliary body and the iris. The inner layer of the eye is light sensitive and is called the retina. Light rays pass through the cornea and are refracted in the fluid of the anterior and posterior chambers of the eye. They then pass through the lens, which can change its shape to focus light on the retina. The light-sensitive cells (cones and rods) of the retina transmit nerve impulses to the brain through the optic nerve. This allows us to see and perceive the world around us.

The eye is a complex organ that requires constant care and attention. It is important to monitor your eye health, eat right, take vitamins and minerals, exercise and avoid bad habits. It is also necessary to regularly visit an ophthalmologist and undergo examinations to identify possible problems at an early stage.

The eye is one of the main sense organs in humans, which allows us to perceive the light and color of the surrounding world. It has the shape of an irregular sphere and consists of several shells that perform specific functions.
