Febricet is an over-the-counter analgesic drug that is used to treat moderate pain such as headache, toothache, and pain due to inflammatory diseases. It belongs to the group of analgesics-antipyritics, para-aminophenol derivatives. The manufacturing country of Febricet is Yugoslavia.

Synonyms for Febricet: Acamol-teva (relieving and antifebrile), Aldolar (analgesic and antifebrile), acetamine (analgesic) and acetaminophen.

Indications for the use of Febricet are moderate pain of various origins: headaches and dental pain, back and joint pain, as well as pain during menopause and neuralgia. Febriquet can also be used for the symptomatic treatment of colds.

Contraindications to the use of Febritz include individual intolerance, impaired liver and kidney function, and children under 6 years of age. Febricel can cause side effects in the form of allergic reactions, liver damage, deterioration of rheological blood parameters, asthenopia, insomnia, dizziness, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, tachycardia, tremor. In rare cases, it can lead to agranulocytosis, bleeding, thrombocytopenia and anemia. Also, when taking Febrichet, the risk of hepatotoxicity and poisoning increases. In addition, Febricet can interact with other drugs, for example, anticoagulants can enhance their effect, while cholestyramine slows down absorption, barbiturates can reduce the antipyretic effect. Febricet can cause an overdose, which manifests itself in pallor, nausea, and abdominal pain. Signs of kidney and liver damage occur within 24-72 hours. As a rule, the half-life of Febritet is about 1-3 hours, so when using it, it is necessary to monitor the dose and intervals between doses.
