Filatova Trepan

Filatova Trepan is a famous Soviet ophthalmologist who made a huge contribution to the development of medicine. He was born in 1875 in Russia and educated at Moscow University.

In 1903, he began working at the Moscow Ophthalmological Institute, where he became one of the first teachers. In 1911 he moved to Kyiv, where he continued his scientific activities.

One of the main scientific works of Filatov Trepan was the development of a new method of treating eye diseases - electrophoresis. This method made it possible to deliver drugs directly to the affected organ of the eye.
