Thyroid follicle

Thyroid (cystic) gland folliculitis (follicular zone) is an inflammatory disease that affects the follicles of the thyroid gland and causes them to become blocked with gland secretions. Typically, this process occurs during puberty - a transitional period of child development and early maturation of his body, which leads to changes in hormonal levels. Poisoning of the thyroid glands occurs before reaching reproductive age. Due to elevated levels of thyroid hormone in the blood, thyroid follicitis is more common in warmer climates. Thyroidoid-thyroexictic disease occurs for several reasons: the first reason is hyperthyroidism (excessive production of thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland), and the second is hypothyroidism. To exclude these causes if you suspect the development of thyroid folliculitis, you need to do a blood test for thyroid hormones.
