Fortovaza

Fortovase is an antiviral drug used in the treatment of HIV infections, produced by Hoffmann-La Roche.

The purpose of treatment with Fortovase is to prevent the spread of the virus and facilitate its course. The drug affects the immune system aimed at fighting HIV.

According to the manufacturer's instructions, the drug is contraindicated for people with certain diseases, such as: - hypersensitivity to the active substance; - severe liver pathology (blood levels may be elevated) or severe kidney pathology; - pregnant women, as well as during breastfeeding (based on lack of experience in clinical use); - patients over 16 years of age and under 65. Safety and effectiveness of use cannot be guaranteed for these age groups.

Possible side effects of Fortovase:

* Headache * Damage to the peripheral nervous system or neuropathy * Numbness of the arms or legs * Dizziness * Depression and weakness * Confusion and drowsiness * Seizures * Attempted suicide * Increased blood pressure.
