Fundal

Foundation is one of those words that people don't even think about. However, by foundations we mean more than just the ground. In our understanding, a foundation is a reliable, strong and durable element of a building structure, which is designed to withstand all the loads that the environment places on it.

It is known that the foundation of a building performs a number of very important functions, and its role in the construction of a house or building is difficult to overestimate. Accordingly, each design must meet certain requirements for reliability, strength and stability. This aspect is reflected in the term foundation construction. The term “foundation construction” means the construction of a foundation as an independent element in construction, as well as activities aimed at constructing foundations.

Foundations are divided into several types, based on the materials used in their construction. These are the following types: stone, wood, concrete, reinforced concrete or metal. But at the same time, each type has its own characteristics and is used in certain conditions. Thus, stone foundations are suitable for erecting buildings on flat surfaces without groundwater. Wooden ones are used mainly on soils with high softness values, when designing wooden houses or buildings with a weak structure. Reinforced concrete or concrete foundations have maximum resistance to deformation, so their use is possible only on stable soils and not subject to changes in humidity and ground conditions.
