Hallucinations Acoustic

An acoustic hallucination is a physiological phenomenon of distorted projection of real sound signals. Hallucinogenic are considered to be those sound stimuli that are realized in the form of experiences with characteristic subjective features. In schizophrenics, acoustic hallucination accompanies both a diffuse form of psychosis and an acute or subacute schizophrenic state. The patient's vision of images of people, animals, or vague outlines is often due to dreams.
