Geilikman A.O. (1885–1963) - scientist-surgeon and ophthalmologist and his method of studying the process of trophic function of the eye is one of the greatest mysteries of humanity. The disease has neurotrophic mechanisms and, if the patient follows certain rules, can be cured for a long time. A.I. Geylikman were discovered
Geilikman test (GEP)
L. M. Helmholtz, as a type of unique binocular pseudovision, described the perception of objects with alternative localization, for example, one cheek of a smoker, the hand or toe of his foot, etc. But even today, such phenomena often cause bewilderment among subjects. In Japan, N. Banzawa wrote about “a board for fixing vision, which was placed not on the side, but in front.”
In laboratory conditions, L. Ya. Vogel proposed the following method of simple vision testing: a finger, covering the subject’s eye, makes uniform movements in front of it, while the subject is required to count the number of these movements. The subject will count several times (up to ten or more) the vibrations of the doctor's index finger located in front of him. If he copes with this task correctly, it means that the visual analyzer is normal and the finger-eye test was a success.
