Hemothorax Apical

Definition: Apical hemothorox is a condition in which blood accumulates in the lung tissue, resulting in the formation of a cavity between the outer surface of the lung and the chest wall. Hemothorox is a one-sided process, but the presence of two foci may indicate an attack of the heart vessels.
