Gentos

Gentos: homeopathic remedies for the treatment of prostate and bladder diseases

Gentos is a homeopathic medicine produced in Austria by the pharmaceutical company Richard Bittner. The drug is used to treat acute and chronic prostate diseases, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and chronic prostatitis, as well as to treat bladder diseases, including cystitis, bladder atony, urinary dysfunction, nocturia, frequent urination and incomplete emptying of the bladder .

Gentos is presented in two dosage forms: oral drops and sublingual tablets containing homeopathic components, such as Populus D1, Sabal D6, Conium D6, Kalium jodatum D12 and Ferrum picrinicum D12. Drops contain 7 ml Populus D1, 10 ml Sabal D6, 10 ml Conium D6, 10 ml Kalium jodatum D12 and 10 ml Ferrum picrinicum D12 in 100 ml solution. The tablets contain 25 mg Populus D1, 37.2 mg Sabal D6, 37.2 mg Conium D6, 37.2 mg Kalium jodatum D12 and 37.2 mg Ferrum picrinicum D12.

Gentos has some contraindications, including hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Side effects are rare and may include increased salivation. Interaction with other drugs has not been established, and there is no evidence of overdose.

However, it should be noted that Gentos contains homeopathic iodine, so the issue of its use is decided individually, taking into account the clinical situation, especially for diseases of the thyroid gland. The drug can also be used during pregnancy and lactation according to indications.

Patients taking Gentos should be informed that if other side effects occur, they should consult a doctor. Storing the drug may lead to slight turbidity of the solution or a weakening of the smell and taste, but this does not affect its effectiveness.

In general, Gentos is one of many drugs used in the complex treatment of prostate and bladder diseases. However, before you start using it, you should consult your doctor and make sure that the drug is suitable for your specific case.
