Herxheimer

Herxheimer, or Hartmann, or dermatitis herpetiformis, is a chronic hereditary disease characterized by the appearance of areas of peeling and erythema on the skin, followed by the formation of small grouped blisters on them. The pathology is autosomal dominant (penetrance of the mutant gene is about 85%). Most often, genetics are to blame for the development of the disease.
