Hidrosis

Hydrozo is a skin disease that causes excessive sweating in certain areas of the body. People suffering from this disease produce an increased amount of sweat in the armpits, groin, palms and feet, which leads to unpleasant sensations of discomfort and itching. In addition, excessive sweating can lead to the development of infectious diseases and dehydration.

Hydrozo is considered a rare disease and occurs in 3-7% of women and 2-4% of men. They are most common in patients aged 20 to 50 years. It is noteworthy that hydrozo does not have any specific etiology; no one can name its cause, except for the increased activity of the sweat glands. The disease can be both hereditary and acquired. Hidrosis is often accompanied by an unpleasant odor that causes strong disgust among others. In some cases, manifestations of hyperhidrosis have been observed since childhood, and sometimes it occurs in young people under stress or for other reasons. In adults, the causes of hydrosis can be very different - from disruptions in the hormonal system to mental problems.

When hydrosis occurs in children, it usually causes problems with communication and negatively affects academic performance. Less commonly, increased sweating may occur at the time of puberty, then the cause of this phenomenon may be a hereditary predisposition. Treatment for the disease may include:

* Medicines that reduce sweat production. * Antiperspirants that protect the skin from sweat.

Additionally, many people use deodorants and antiperspirants to relieve symptoms. However, the use of these products may cause irritation and damage to the skin. It is also worth remembering that hyperhidrosis can never be completely cured, however, the right approach to treatment will help reduce the manifestations of the disease.
