Hypobranchial Thickening

Hypobranchial thickenings are complex anatomical formations that are located on the surface of the cartilaginous and bone structures of the larynx. They are areas of thickened tissue located on the sides of the larynx, resembling the horns of cattle or shaped like the profile of animals.

Hypobranchs

A hypobranchial enlargement is a bulge of bones behind the inside of the mammary glands, which is relatively small in size in mammals. It is formed as a result of the departure of blood vessels and nerves heading to the mammary glands, and sometimes communicates with the body cavity. Depending on the structure, it is divided into types: simple, semilunar, complex.
