Histophagocyte

Histophages are tissue parasites. They are also called pulmonary flukes. The life cycle lasts from two weeks to six months. The female is several times larger than the male. At the pointed front end there is a mouth opening. Behind it is a rounded depression. The central nervous system looks like two pairs of lateral trunks connected by a jumper. Between the layers of the pharynx there are two cavities - the gastric and intestinal.
