Dizziness and fainting
The onset of pregnancy is often accompanied by general weakness. This is explained by the fact that the body begins to change, and it needs time to get used to its new state. But sometimes the matter is not limited to weakness alone. Dizziness and, in some cases, fainting occur. Most often they occur in women who have experienced these sensations before, during or before menstruation. This may also be the result of narrowing of blood vessels and indicates their susceptibility to disease. In healthy women, dizziness and fainting practically never occur during pregnancy.
If these symptoms appear, it is better to consult a doctor immediately. He will prescribe an additional examination and advise how to behave to avoid this.
Sometimes dizziness and fainting can appear along with nausea and vomiting, increased blood pressure, and swelling. Perhaps all this is pregnancy toxicosis. It is necessary to immediately inform the doctor so that he can provide timely assistance and take into account all these signs during childbirth.
