Hay Fever

Hay Fever is a type of allergy, the occurrence of which is associated with the impact of plant pollen on the human body. The main manifestation of this type of allergy is inflammation of the nasal mucosa and sometimes the conjunctiva (vernal conjunctivitis).

Symptoms of hay fever include frequent sneezing, a watery or stuffy nose, and watery eyes due to the release of histamine. Often in this case, patients are helped by taking antihistamines.

If it is possible to identify a specific allergen, then it becomes possible to carry out desensitization.

The medical name for this disease is allergic rhinitis.
