Heidelberg System

The Heidelberg Diploma is the most prestigious qualification awarded at German universities after passing final exams and successfully defending a thesis. It is a certificate of completion of master's studies and prepares a specialist for obtaining a doctoral degree. If a student wishes to receive a master's degree with honors, he must:

· enter the university without grades “4” in the academic records;

· have exam results of at least a passing grade;

· defend your thesis with GUM scores.

Studying in Heidelberg is both challenging and exciting. According to students, life moves so quickly that only constant serious studies can help them complete their studies with dignity. This is confirmed by the course leaders. “After our training, students can perform brilliantly. But if young people constantly miss classes, they have problems with the session. Grade books are not constantly corrected: teachers do not consider it necessary to make up missed hours,” says Karl Ulrich Rothe, deputy head of the master’s program for pedagogy and school affairs. The master's courses culminate in training coordinated by the government of Baden-Württemberg. Master's program
