Hemostatic clips

A hemostatic clip is a medical device for stopping bleeding and conservative treatment of wounds, including pulpal ones, in pre-hospital and first aid, as well as in outpatient settings, including hospital settings. Its use is limited only in special medical institutions. The clip is a hemostatic instrument based on clinical studies; it is classified as a medical device. Used for venous and arterial bleeding from wounds of the head, neck, torso, upper and lower extremities. It can be used for injuries to blood vessels, soft tissues, joints, penetrating wounds and other traumatic injuries to the circulatory system and human limbs. The success of treatment depends largely on how quickly a suitable hemostat is used and applied after an injury such as a severe bruise, blow, cut or puncture wound. Optimal control of arterial and venous bleeding is one of the first aid methods, along with control of breathing and circulation and stimulation for vomiting and chest pain. In this case, the removal of the foreign body must be carried out taking into account the circumstances, as quickly as possible and with the direct participation or presence of a qualified physician. During immobilization, surgery, and transportation of the patient, it is important to ensure the most effective restoration of access to the bleeding vessel. Bleeding in acute blood injuries is stopped by blood transfusion therapy or by ligating arteries or veins using a general, interosseous or intravenous infusion of human blood elements - for medical reasons and the need to study its blood flow, blood group compatibility, prothrombin time, etc. Bleeding may be accompanied by fever, and in situations where the wound site is larger and the patient is in serious condition, cold, sterile dressings or fixatives and spray patches are additionally required, and the most effective method of care is the use of instruments for blocking blood vessels and temporary isolation
