Ibuprofen

Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

The mechanism of action is based on suppressing the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for the development of inflammation and pain. Has an antipyretic effect.

Indications for use: pain syndrome of various origins - headache, toothache, myalgia, arthralgia; inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system - arthritis, arthrosis; febrile syndrome.

Contraindications: hypersensitivity to the drug, erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, severe heart and kidney failure, bleeding, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Side effects: dyspepsia, allergic reactions, dizziness, drowsiness.

It is recommended to use with caution in elderly patients, with hypertension and CHF. Concomitant use with anticoagulants and other NSAIDs is not recommended.
