Ichthyosis Follicular

Ichthyosis follicular, or follicular pustular erythroderma, is an inflammatory skin disease of unknown etiology of unknown origin, characterized by the appearance of polygonal or round purple spots on the body, similar to rashes. This is a debilitating and always painful process, which in most cases leads to serious impairment of a person’s physiological functions and requires long-term treatment and constant medical supervision.

Depending on the scale of onychological changes, the functioning of various body systems - joints, skin, respiratory organs - may be disrupted. As the disease progresses, patients may lose their hair completely. As a rule, hospitalization is necessary to cure these diseases. In particularly severe cases, it is possible to contact a surgeon in the future.
