Infantilism Psychosexual

Psychosexual infantilism – (from Latin infantilis “childish”, suffixal formation).

An infantile personality that is the subject of social care, characterized by a certain degree of social maladjustment. When V., m.b. a **special attitude towards sexuality** has been formed, expressed either in persistent refusal of sexual intercourse, or in endless promiscuity. The behavior of adolescents with V. is not socially desirable: it is rude in relation to the people around them, their actions are immoral, based on false values. A mental state characterized by the preservation in an adult of the physical traits, interests and behavior of a teenager. Denial of puberty has an effect on character. For the parents, the child remains “mama and daddy’s boy.” The development of a mental protest reaction in a teenager is associated with the difficulties that arise in the child’s adaptation to the surrounding society. But at the same time, this protest “splashes out”, i.e. framed in a socially acceptable manner. Signs of protest reactions, depending on the form, may be the following: - protests against parents, teachers, acquaintances, neighbors (for a child, the natural mother is almost always an attractive subject);
